Week 20 - no MMS software news |

Does anybody know the latest on the MMS upgrade for the T68 in the UK.
I called my local Service Centre who say that they download whatever is on the SE server - supposedly don't know what version is there, but if the latest then that's what I get. Suggested I call SE.
I called the SE centre in the UK and they say the software is still in testing and they don't have a release date. When I mentioned the press release about week 20, she just repeated that it was in testing and they have no news - no help either about how we know when it is released.
Do you know the REAL FACTS as they are NOW? |

read earlier posts here on Esato...  has changed release date to week 21... that's all the news has released about it...

Stopped by the servicecenter one hour ago, and they told me that they weren't able to upgrade my phone and thenshe mumbled something about, not being alowed by SE - didn't really understand it. Was so disappointed that I couldn't get the upgrade.  Then she told me that she didn't know when the upgrade then was tp come. She could not even confirm week 21 to be the date :? |

well it's just that they are testing the upgrade and have strict directions from SE INTERNATIONAL that they have not the right to upgrade phones before week 21 the international release week,lot of people say may 25 will be the great day

Seems SE marketing department keeps the update release day the same as release of Nokia N7650 to the market.
I hate them - waiting several weeks just because the marketing bunnies want to spoil the N7650 launch I'm really getting pissed off by SE these days ...

I´ve called SonyEricsson Venezuela. And they confirmed me that the software is suposed to go out from engeneering department this week (week 20) and should be available for the Service Points some time between week 21 & week 22.

heh, i've given up on the new software
i'll just suffer with the terribly slow everything in the t68 and get the p800 after that, i bet that'll also be terrible slow and before you know it, a p800i will be out 1 month after that
and then i'll be a sucker again.
