One is a superb little budget phone, the other is from Nokia.

first off all the price
price is here in 189euro for the nokia and 139euro for the T230.
2nd the specs. both phones are very equal to each other
3th design and ergonomics: design is strict personal, but ergonamics, 3100 feels nice in the hand, but its not that nice to operate. T230 on the other hand is very nice to operate, easy up to date icon menu and brand new navigation key.
4th the quality 3100 is good build phone, but the cover makes it like most nokia phones, meaning don't drop it very hard or don't get near watter. T230 is very strong build, i was personally very impressed by this, if it falls the only thing that could come off is the back cover and maby battery.
5 special only the T230 has got a thing that makes it special thats the very good battery, its one of the best battery for a low end phone.
so for me T230 wins hands down. its the best low end phone on the european market today.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

I love my t230 it survived dropping on classroom floors and all sorts - and i used to be a real nokia fan!

T230's great and even beter in some features. Like it has 32 bit poly, blokia has 16bit i think. But nokia has 128*128 display, 230 has 101*80  Rest all features similar. But has 230 has greater mms capability. Much better editor. Looks are better too methinks.

Now i got used to them i even prefer the menu to nokias, the only problem i have is that the keypad is quite hard on the fingers he you do a lot of texting like i do. Bought the phone to be small and portable though - and it is, other phone is a 3 house brick!

All depends on your needs. T230 is really a good phone. 3100 also. T230: nice menus, good polys,good battery, nice mms editor, 3100: good screen, fast menus, fast and easy texting, maaaaany games, changeable covers.

The t230 is meant to have 32 bit polys but have u compared it with the T610 which also has 32 bit polys. They are shite.

But i quite liked the polys. Very loud and had bass more than treble. even tho 32bit) And no more 'asscending' crap!
