Keeping my HBH-35 connected to my Z600 |

Hello all,
As you can tell from my user ID im a new user of the Z600. Recently (in fact on the weekend) i was wondering through a local market when i came across a person selling used (near new) Bluetooth headsets dirt cheap. Anyway after a brief discussion i walked away with a HBH-35 for only $50.00 AUD. The only 'problem' is that it came with no manuals.
To cut a long story short, ive managed to get the HBH-35 paired up with my phone and used it semi regularly. I say semi because the thing does not want to stay connected to my phone.
Can anyone help. I want to use the headset all the time and not have to worry about whether or not its still connected to my Z600.
Whilst on this subject (so to speak) if anyone can also provide me with some tips, hints, features, capabilities of his headset it would be most appreciated. I've looked on the net for help, but not much luck. Hence the reason for me starting this thread here !
As mentioned previously, the headset did not come with any documentation, just the unit with the pouch. Still very good value considering they cost over $150.00 here in Australia.
Any help would be most appreciated !

I suggest that you download the 'Users Guide' of your HBH-35 from Sony Ericsson's global support area.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked on the Sony Website but cant find any manuals for it.
Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the link. This will answer some of the questions i had regarding the capabilities of the HBH-35.
All i need to do now is work out the other problem i have.

No, i didnt. I recked all my settings and everything was OK. I decided that having the HBH-35 should not be that difficult so i took it back to place of purchase.
They guy cheerfully exchanged it with another one and i havent had a problem since.
Whilt i was there he showed me a couple of HBH-65 and i was debating on wether i should get one of those. I decided against it because of two reasons.
1. Too small = bad microphone pickup (?)
2. Earpiece not as good as the HBH-35 (?)
Was i right in keeping the HBH-35?

I'm actually thinking of selling my HBH-65 and getting the HBH-35 instead mainly because the microphone pickup doesn't seem to be very good outdoors. Indoors in a quiet setting it doesn't seem all that bad, but there is a lot of background hissing.
I'm actually really quite disappointed with the HBH-65. It's a nice design, but functionally I'm not sure if it's all it's cracked up to be. Maybe my unit is defective because the new HBH-600 is based on the HBH-65 so it can't be all that bad. Perhaps I'm just expecting too much out of it. |

My HBH-60 is just fine. Basically a HBH-65 with a battery that's a little less advanced, IIRC. |
