I was told today some info that came from a  Rep in UK that they are soon to release a phone with an extending optical zoom lens on it's camera!!
The phone also apparently has very camera-like looks. I'm wondering if this is the mysterious swivel phone seen recently in the leaked video.
I HOPE SO!!

i don't believe this, i think it's a fake
optical lense, we're talking about a phone, not about a digital camera
BUT if it's true, that phone will rock

Yeah why would you spend a million bucks on a phone when you can buy an excellent digital camera and a good phone? It's not like the phone's going to have 5.0 megapixel resolution with 10x optical zoom or anything. |

I think it would be expensive and surelly the quality of the camera wouldn't be such as a 5megapixel figual camera. Personally I think that camera of the phone is usefull only for MMS. But it would be great to have a good camera on the phone he you would see something you would have a photo, but you wouldn't have by you your digital camera.

First I'd like to see  realease a phone like the T630/Z600 with radio + MP3 player and MS Duo support...then maybe a phone with optical zoom cam...
In any case such a phone will be prohibitively expensive... like the HBM-30...great product killed by bad price...

yes.... but not every one of us is interested in getting a PDA 
I think I'd rather just buy a good digital cam.... as phones tend to switch rather fast, but a god quality camera last me years
