I have looked long and hard for these settings and i hope everyone finds them useful. I can say that if you follow the settings exactly your GPRS connection will work GREAT! Just go to http://www.cellnews.net/acg/092577.html and all the info you need is there.

Cingular are total dicks when it comes to GPRS access and GSM access.

They won't give you any information about connecting to it, yet I find it incredibly funny when people post this information on the internet and I laugh when they get surprised when I tell them the APN, and password, with the IP address.

I had to yell at a Cingular employee to finally get a guy to divulge information about the settings for GPRS access in the LA area (Because they put GRPS access on my contract, so big OPPS on them).

Yes, they work fine...

But you have to call them first to activate GPRS for you. Tell them you have a T61z and you want GPRS, and there you go.

Put those settings into your phone and everything will work perfectly fine.

It is unlikely they will change the passwords for the phones, due to there stupidity.

LOL, thanks for the info. BUT cingular has had their WAP workin for a long time now. GPRS was launched apriL 17, alot of US have this settings long time ago. thanks again though.
