To get the "adult" fact on the table:
The Norwegian "Consumer department" has stated that 7 out of 10 complaints and returns of mobile phones are done by Nokia owners.
They suspect this has to do with Nokia's urge to be "the first with the latest".

a simple sum tells us that the brand that sells the largest (nominal) number of phones, is likely to also have the largest (nominal) number of complaints.

where's the shock in that?

You don't need to be inmature to hate Nokia
I hate them as well due to their low quality handsets and ugly and odd design.
What a joke, just 128x128 in 6230.
The display is not capable to show how somewhat decent the photos are with its built-in cam.
Nokia is just a joke.

Nokia may of produced some dodgey phones in the past, but designs such as the 7600 are innovative and clever, and I think that without Nokia's competition with Sony Ericsson, SE would still be producing boring black blocks.

Nokia isn't competing with anyone. Hardly any manufacturer can be called competition to Nokia. I'm speaking about sales, not quality.

@Vlamm
7 ou of 10 is 70%. Nokia market share is about 40%. So there's no correspondance sales/returns. [addsig]

I think you need to think a little bit 'out of the box' here.

Not the phones sold over the last year (i assume for now that's what your figure is based on) only form all phones 'out on the streets' so to speak.

Many ppl keep a phone for a lengthy period of time...... and many such ppl (much more than 40% of all cell phone owners) own a Nokia..... catch my drift?
