No it is NOT possible to send stuff from T230 to PC by cable.
Only the T610 series can do that.

I think there's no way to connect your phone to PC coz there's no cd software included and no downloaded pc suite for that...so the data cable will no longer be use....but if your network supported T230,there are some services that can download i.e ringtones, mms, wallpapers etc.

We need somebody who has a T230 and DCU-11/DRS-11 to try this with fMA.
Just because the T230 didn't come with any CD/software bundle, it automatically means that you couldn't do anything with it (except download/upload files via wap). Image Editor and MMS Home Studio can be downloaded and used with the said cables.
INTEGRITY
Without it... Everything else is irrelevant. |

mms only sends a template to the mms on your phone and heck if I can get it out to use it elsewhere ie ringtone or wallpaper. The image editor is only to send images to phone not reciece from phone.
Christersson.org has a program but I dont know what models it supports and I havent tried it.
I was under the opinion fma worked for all t series check their website. It sends and recieves just about anything. |

I have a T230 and I have a usb data cable, unsure which one (described as USB Cable T610)
My cable came with drivers and I downloaded Sendfile from christersonn.org and it all works fine. Haven't got fma to work with it yet though.
If you want pm me and i could probobly put the drivers on a site or email them to you.

You're able to send pictures FROM the T230 to PC via the cable ????
Sending pictures from phone to PC via CABLE requires OBEX FTP support on the phone, regardless of what PC software you use. As far as I know, only the T610 series support OBEX FTP.
Sending stuff TO the phone works on all models with either FMA or SendFile.

hey download the fma and just give it a try, if fma is able to detect the phone the you should be able to transfer the files from the phone to the pc, if the file has a unlimited distribution attribute to it or else it cannot be downloaded to the phone and also it the file is not in use. |

For the millionth time, without OBEX FTP support on the phone, you can't transfer pictures from the phone to the PC, even with FMA.
For SendFile to work, you need to install Mobile Phone Monitor from SE, enable the COM port that corresponds to the cable. You should also set the COM port speed to 9600 under device manager for T200/T300 series. It can take several minutes for the software to recognize the phone.
With FMA, you do NOT need Mobile Phone Monitor. |

Hope this helps
And there was some info yesterday that if you set obex packet size to 515 or somthing in that area it can rcv obex in the t300 phones.
I guess its worth a shot
