Hello everybody
I have a few stupid questions about Z600.
I have a bluetooth dongle.
1)How can I get pictures from my phone to my PC?I got a program from SE website, but that only allowed sending pics to the phone,not vice versa.
2)How can I send ringtones and themes from my PC to my phone?
3)And from where can I get real good ringtones,with all 32 channels used?
PS
For all of those, who were wondering how to mute the ringtone after 5 sec of ringing...
I contacted SE and they told me that it's not a bug, it's suppose to be a "feature"
They told me to try to press the camera key on the side and the the volume key (doesn't matter which one).And to my great surprise this works | |

Personally, I connect my z600 to my PC via IR and then just transfer pictures and ringtones to the phone via Windows. To send pictures from the phone go to Pictures and Sounds --> My Pictures, find the picture, press More --> Send --> Via Bluetooth or Via infrared. (Same for ringtones.)
As for ringtones, I make my own: I find midi files on the web and then use Anvil Studio's free program to edit the midi to the excerpt I want and then transfer to the phone through Windows. I've made about ten or so classic rock (Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Bowie, Dire Straits) polyphonic tones that way; much better quality than the free ones I had previously download from the web. |

hi again
funny,I don't get the option to send via bluetooth although I have a bluetooth dongle and I am able to sync my Outlook for example.
I downloaded this Anvil thing,but I must admit, I wasn't very successful at using it.What exactly do you do to add channels? |

You dont in fact need any software other than the drivers that came with your bluetooth dongle. Once installed on the PC, go ahead and pair you phone with your PC (procdure of entering the same passkey on both of them)
Then when on your phone, select the picture you want to send, select 'more', 'send' 'via bluetooth' andf pick your PC from the lsit of devices. Simple as that.

Go into 'my computer' and on to the folder where you have stored your themes or ringtones, right-click the item, select 'send to', select 'bluetooth' and select your phone from the list of devices.
