The 3 times my T68m where in on Service/Repair they gave me a 3210, almost as tiny as an normal brick
But it wasnt away for more then 1 week. But thats thanks to the SP and not the store.
Was it an "m" or "i" you sent in?

It was my m. The reason it takes so long is that I have to take it to the store that I bought it from ,(27 miles away) they send it to manchester ,(even more miles away) and when it gets there they fix it and then send it back, which also takes bloody ages. |

Wait a minute. Isn't the store obliged by consumer rights laws to give you a replacement phone (while T68i is in service) that is equivalent to the phone in service? For example T68m or Nokia 8310?

hello !
i havent had any problems with my T68! at least up until this writing, on which i have my unit for 6 months already. intermittent power on and off? that happens also to all the computers here in the office, which i think is an inherent character of a computer-run unit. hanging-up of the OS? those things definitely happen to computers also, so i dont consider that a defect of another similarly computer-based item like a T68 (i'm not talking about a t68 hanging up or turning off by itself 20-times a day! in that case... it IS a defective unit!).
and i know a lot more satisfied T68 owners around.
have a nice day! |

by the way..... that's right, they should have given you at least an equal type of unit, if not the same, for your T68.

Sorry but no, they arent obliged to give you a replacement phone while yours is away. Some stores does it as "goodwill".

Yes, Mr noddles have right -they give you a phone only on goodwill, read the warranty rules.
If you had the same flaw 3 times under the warranty period you can demand a new unit or money back. |
