T610 uploaded MIDI has no sound |

Sorry for posting a possibly duplicated topic, but I can't find a solution in the topics I viewed in the search result.
My uploaded MIDI files have no sound when I play it in "My Sounds". I pressed my phone onto my ear but I can't hear anything. Other default sounds plays loudly.
I used SendFile v2.0.6 to upload, and I used Cakewalk to check that all 10 channels are of volume 127 (maximum).
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks a lot!

I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure that cakewalk is exporting (saving) the soundfiles as 'basic' midi files?
What I mean is if, during the conversion process, cakewalk assigns instruments that are not part of the standard midi library then the T610 will not be able to play them. What you might like to try is to download a copy of Modplug Tracker (free!), load your sound files into that and then use its 'export to midi' function on the 'file' menu. Modplug Tracker is nowhere near as sophisticated as cakewalk, but it's export to midi function definatley works with the T610.
If your files work then, you'll know that it's something to do with the cakewalk settings
Modplug Tracker can be obtained here:

Thanks Cycovision! I guess my MIDI devices setting is not suitable for T610, because the ModPlug Tracker prompts me to replace device when I export it. I exported the MIDI, but nothing changes.
Can you give me one of the MIDI that works fine on your phone?
BTW, is the version of the phone batters? |

Well, I have a newish phone (week 42 I think) with the oldest Firmware, R1L. I don't think neither the release week of the phone nor the firmware version has anything to do with your problems though
If you PM me your email address, I'll send you a couple of midis that I've exported from Modplug so you can see if they work.
One more thing you might like to try first: I'm wondering if there might be something wrong with your data cable or uploading software? I've Pm'd you my email address, if you like you could send me one of the midi files that don't work and I'll upload it to my website. You can then try downloading it to your phone via wap. If the midi works then, you know that it's something to do with your cable or software
