hi there ppl..... i've been following this site and the forums for quite some time.... and i would like to ask a simple question about the software upgrade.
I live in Malta and here there is no service centre... now my bro has a T68 and im planning to get one (or a t68i). Now he wants to upgrade his phone and i would like to know if it possbile to upgrade the phone in another country other than the one u bought it in. im planning to go to hungary in summer and would like to know if it possible to upgrade there and if i should take any other things, other than the mobile with me....

Yes that should be possible. You will need your ''recite of purchase ''. You can read about this in the manual.

I mean since soft-ware upgrades is classified as an warranty-issue just read about the ericsson world-wide warranty somewhere at the end of the manual. Cheers!

well i tried to read the manual........ but its in GERMAN...... and i only know english and italian........... that is why is asked for help over the forum...... |

By the way, I've upgraded my phone a couple of times and they never have asked me for the receipt,so I guess that they can do it without the receipt if they are'nt very evil persons.
