i`m fed up waiting!!when is this phone coming out??...it might be one hell of a phone but still sendo will have give it a really good(low) price in order for people t prefer it over other bigger manufacturers like sonyericsson and nokia... |

The Sendo X seem s to be very similar to the Neonode mobile, it doesn't want to be released for some reason ?
Best thing to do is stop waiting and buy another decent phone, well thats what i would do...........
I remember waiting for the P800 when it was first released, it took months and months, but when it came out - it was well worth the wait.

I gave up on the X a long time ago and bought a P900 instead. Glad I did, it's awesome!

The X has buggy firmware that sendo is trying to rectify.

True.
There is no better phone than the P900, i sold mine and have regretted it since. No phone yet can match the P900 in looks, strength, ability and multitasking.........

Hi,
Any news from 3gsm?This phone has been removed from the list of several shops around Europe but yet the sendo website shows new photos and by the way,they have some differences with the original photos.
If anyone has news,please post them.

doesn't the sendo x run on nokia series 60 software? should be pretty straightforward then, unless they have their own tweaks. |

This is part of a post on the forums of www.sendo-x.com.
The guy that made the post said its a reply from Sendo to an email he sent them
" We are now manufacturing and I expect that we ship in the next couple of weeks. 
- SIM free without subsidy for approx. 500 Euros.
- We will start in the UK, Italy, Spain and France. The US is planned for the 2nd
quarter of this year.
- We have made some minor changes to the plastics"
Also Celluloco.com have placed an ETA for March 18th on their website so who knows the wait may be over soon.
Due to cut backs the light at the end of the tunnel has had to be temporarily switched off. |

sorry to inform you, that the release of the X has been delayed again.
This is an email from Sendo Birmingham concerning the release and some developer issues:

Thank for getting in touch with Sendo. First of all I have to apologize for the long delay in getting back to you. I was double booked with work related to GSM World Congress, CeBIT, CTIA, the upcoming release of our 2 new Java devices as well as our online software shop with Handango
As for your questions:

We are currently ramping up production for the X. Release to market is expected in a couple of weeks. Due to our relationships with the operators we cannot reveal the launch territory yet. * Various Developer units have been shipped to our launch partners. I am currently preparing or the second batch of units. I am planning to sell a Developer Kit (device,
cables, SDK, technical documentation) that will be on sale for $ 750 including two free e-mail support cases, each worth $ 150). To release the kit we are now transitioning our SDK to suite the new Series 60 plug-in Development architecture as well as investigating to publish X specific API's. Availability of the kit will be announced via our Developer newsletter. I am also planning to have 'loaner' devices available. Shipment of a loaner device to an ISV will determined on the analysis of how the applications of that ISV match Sendo's target audiences needs; in other words how desirable the applications are for our customers.

good to hear symbian 60 is in use it means one thing....Ngage games. Hopefully they keys and UI will be good for fast paced gaming.
