Hm, I can't really figure out what the case is here. You should try to re-record your voice command in a super quiet environment. That was my problem. If that isn't working, then connect your headset and try recording the commands. When I say "connect", I mean go into the "My Devices" and highlight your headset and select "Connect".
Try this.

I have a P900/HBH-65. I'm sure the process is the same.
First make sure u actually have pairing between both phone and headset
1. Press the Call Handling Button on ur headset.
2. Between the 1st and 3rd low deep hit the record button on ur phone. (If u wait for all 3 low beeps or the single high beep it wont work).
3. Record ur command.
4. Wait a few seconds then play back.
If u still have problems, probably best to call the SE help desk in ur area.

mine works fine without having to record through the headset, I believe the statement about having to initially record them in a quiet enviroment is probably why it works for me.

I have a T610 and a Jabra 200 but if I go to Voice controll /Voice dialling /Edit names and then press my headset button, I get a constant connection I can use to record new names. It's actually quite hard to get it to disconnect again! |

I've never succeeded recording voice commands through my bluetooth on the z600. On the T39 you could press the bluetooth button after entering "add voice command" and you could record the voice command via the headset on the next try. That doesn't seem to work with the z600.
On the other hand, you can as suggested above record the voice commands directly into the phone (in a quiet setting) and then activate them from the headset. |

Have you tried resetting the headset and removing the HBH entry from your Z600? Why don't you try this and re-pair them again? Something might have gone wrong during the first pairing process.
I don't have a Z600, but on my T68i and T610, whenever I select 'connect' on My Devices, the headset remains connected until I decide to stop recording voice tags.

Hmmm.. Ur phone set up is very different from the P900 then. I suggest u go to the global support site on the web or better still just call SonyEricsson. I have found then to be very helpful on the phone. Sorry couldn't help further. |

From http://renegade.w3xs.com/ click on the Tips & Tricks link on the left side frame. then click the Title "Voice labels via Bluetooth headset". For wap users here's a link: http://wmlproxy.google.com/wmltrans/h=en/g=@26amp@3bwmlmode=url/u=http@3A@2F@2Frenegade.w3xs.com@2Ftip00014.htm/c=0#p

Thnks dude . . . ! this is what it says . . .
A lot of people complain that the Bluetooth headset does not seem to recognize their voice labels correctly. The main reason for this is because all voice labels are recorded directly on the phone and the Bluetooth headset seems to transmit the users voice at a rate that makes the voice label "unrecognizable" by the phone. The work around to this is to record all your voice labels with the headset and not directly to the phone. This can only be achieved by doing the following:
Put your Bluetooth to "ON"
Go to any of the "VoiceCommand" menus and initiate a voice record.
When the mobile is waiting for you input, switch on your Bluetooth headset.
The headset will beep a few times and connect to your phone.
At the same time, the phone will respond "Is this correct?" Respond "No"
Now the mobile is in Bluetooth mode. You can now record all your voice labels through your Bluetooth headset.
The Bluetooth headset will remain in an active state (connect mode) until you switch the Bluetooth off or if you make/receive a call using your headset. Leaving the Bluetooth in an active state will drain your battery.
I did exactly as it says . . . and nothing . . . i give up ! i paid $117.00 for nothing . . . when my z600 is waiting for my input , if i press the talk button it says after the tone say a name or voice command but it doesnt say "Is this correct?" it just says no match found . . . like i said i give up . . . lucky you that can use your bluetooth at its 100 % capacity . . . thanks !

Don't try to record . Go to your existing voice tags in the voice controll menu press your headset button and start browsing your existing voice tags . You should then be able to hold a connection. |
