i think leaving your t68 on direct sunlight for a while will dim/damage the screen.. |

I think the plastic won't do any damage to the screen.
For what reason it could damageit?
It doesn't make any sence if you think about it! |

So, to clear this rumour up, I actually sent an email to sonyericsson 'cos I was kinda worried, after having the plastic on my screen for over 6 weeks... and here's the result:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson on the World Wide Web.
Question:
Subject: Question from EMI User
Hi, I bought an Ericsson T68 about a month ago, there is a piece of
plastic protecting my screen and I've left it on there so that I won't
scratch it. Is this ok or can it damage the screen? Thanks in advance.
Arroyootje
Answer:
This plastic piece protects the screen from scratching and has no
damage to phone or display.

Yeah is not true that at all, the plastic cover does not do any harm to your T68, stop this. |

This doesn't make sense. There are many plastic screen protectors for PDAs in the market and I have been using WriteRight with my PDA for two years without any problems. Also I have been using a small piece of WriteRight with my T68 for 2 months without any problems. But if you leave your phone in your car under the sun, the plastic might melt and then you'll have a damaged screen which had happened to my old Ericsson T18 |

If it damaged the screen why would they put it there. How long do the phones sit around in the box after they're made with the plastic protector on? Probably not long but still if it damaged the screen it wouldn't be there to start with. Why don't cell phone manufacturers use more scratch resistant materials? |
