I am completly sure, the extension for mophun games is .mpn
most new phones are mophun compatible.

So why have i had warnings from people not to put mophun games on my sites?

Because you have to put only demo games not illegal mophun games.
but the demos are fully playable. And a nice way to get the feeling of the game. |

Dont put full Mophun games on your site unless you want them knocking at you door. Im pretty sure you can put demos on there as long as you link to Mophuns site for the full games. You can bed any freeware java games. Extension being *.jar kind regards.

mophun games are not freeware. mophun watches these boards and when a free mophun site is posted they come down quick with legal action. i have seen sites with free mophun games go down quick, if not games removed form the site. java and mophun DEMOS are alright though |

Java are fine as long as they are freeware or you have the permission of the original writer of the game.

Hmm. Sometimes the java games come with a readme file. In there it normally gives legal information. Most java games are freeware and i doubt anybody will take legal action against you. Just ask you to remove them.

when people post links to games here I just use google to find sites that are selling the same game. If I find any then I assume the games being linked to are warez and I disallow the link to that site.
Sometimes I will also download the game and try it and if it has copyright messages in it I will disallow it also.
I'd suggest you do the same before adding any games to your site.

@masseur,cheers,it seems like too much hassle if i gotta check whether each game is ok to put up or not so i think i'll give the games a miss,anyway,theres plenty of other sites that do games,i just aint got the time to check them in the way you say.
