Good news for Lebanon(T68i upgrade) |

Hi Lebanese t68iers I called celltec today and the technicien confirmed me that he will have the T68i upgrade for T68 by the week 21. 
Remember that we have the t68i in Lebanon since 3 weeks and that it's enough to prove that the upgrade will be available,also our version is T68m not T68mc which are supposed to be the ones that will not be upgraded.

By the way, I've called Libannet today and they just answered that the upgrade will be available by next week but it'll not have all the features they mentioned on the FAQ!!!  anyway let's wait and see...

I live in Ashrafieh.
I think that they will take off mms feature because it's not supported now

Can I use my celltec warrenty with libannet?
Did they told you if it will be free?
I hope the 57 perso pic and the cli function will not be taken out

No he just asked me to call them next week so he can answer me exactly!!
When he told me that some features may be taken out, I just answered by: YES i know that... it may be WAP2.0 and one more feature not more.... and then I added if more features are taken out, u'll be giving me a t68i, I laughed and closed the line.

I will call celltec on friday,but how can they take off some features from the upgrade? isn't it a whole bios?
You supposed it was wap that will be taken off or they told you so?
If cool features like 57 pics , the CLI identification and the mms are taken away it will simply not be the upgrade we are waiting for!

I called SE in Hong Kong and they told me only MMS fucntion will be added. Other picture CLID and stuff will not be available. I am not sure if we have the same upgrade or not. |

i will be coming to beirut, lebanon in a few weeks with my T68i with the MMS software, so if any of u want i can flash the software and give u guys the upgrade if possible
i will be staying at barboor street right off corneesh el- masra3a.

Hi there I called cepp on monday they don't know anything about upgrade
I think they are in the biz of "sell and forget"....
but i can always go to celltec for the upgrade i always had my mobile updated there even with a cepp warranty.
I think there is no wap 2.0 and things will be a little different from the t68i because of the memory management difference between the too phone

When i called them at libannet he told me that wap2 and the download of new themes will be removed but he asked me to call them next week so that he can confirm it.

I don't understand how they can remove certain features out of the update!!!!!!
Any ways I think I should drop by Beirut if the upgrade overthere is out before it is released here.
I wonder how long will it take them to start the MMS, u have started the GPRS overthere already.

I have called libannet today and asked the guy about the upgrade,he told me in a first time that it will convert the t68m so it will be close to t68i,but after I asked him about increased pic etc... he told me that they will not be available,so I asked him what will change,he said only games will changes ,is he crazy or what? perhaps he talked about the R2d005 or they are going mad in SE!

I called celltec now and it the same answer since 1 month:
the internet says that we will have it,but nobody official from SE notified us!
It seems more and more that this upgrade is nothing but a bullshit,if by the beginning of june nothing happens I will sell my t68 and buy a t68i tehrib without a camera,I can't accept that i paid a lot of money for a mobile with 1/4 of its capacity!

Believe me they know nothing about the update ……. They don’t know what sms is!!!! How about MMS????? The upgrade will be available with all the feathers except the wap 2.0
