I think we have no ideea how much a billion is!Imagine a stadium full of ppl (how many 70,000 in there?) talking to a phone and then 1,000,000,000 ppl doing that..amazing in my opinion.

bearing in mind there are only 8 000 000 000-ish people in the world, that is a lot! and im glad to be one of them aswell, its a shame i have to be friend's with some1 who isn't.

@sean: erhmm, no wonder u find the sum of 1billion of gsm users as being little.actually ,we are 6,4 billion ppl in the world, not 8 billion.

@701, think you will find i said that is quite a lot, it was some1 else who said it wasn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and that counter thing isn't as acurate as you might think, its based on the number of people born in the past, and estimates (guesses/assumes) and as the saying goes - assumption is the mother of all f**k-ups!!!

And imagine a single unified gsm network with all over the world offering services to all of them. no roaming rentals! and best coverage. i guess this network will cover most of landmass of earth.
