charged for downloads that means  you'll still have to pay your providers wap charges
it would help if you said waht type of downloads you're looking for though

a site has nice cool contents. but you can access wapsites using globe other than yahoo and globe wapsite. As for smart, you have to pay .25 c per kb. |

you might be referring to free GPRS access, and NOT free wap sites, all wap sites are ofcourse accessible free of charge (if allowed by network). all you need is wap.google.com --> just search what you want and it will return many wapsites in its results page. (i.e. searching for: polyphonic tones)
NOTE: on the other hand, most of the uk wap sites are all accessible BUT requires payment for the SERVICES they offer like their polytones/midi/wave, but surfing alone, you're already spending for the GPRS connection (thats 25 cents per kb downloaded/received). |
