Hi Epedemic and all
Is such a difference from the original SW on T68i? (R2A014 something)
If so IŽll go and update it tomorrow!!

It's the SMS problems that put me off the t68.
Has anyone tried a Philips Fisio 820 yet? I was wondering if it had fast SMS and if it had the punctuation features as in Nokias?
Also do you know if it has a month view calendar? |

MrNoodles you had early T68m and now you got T68i with R2A014
like me and I don't think writing SMS in this phone is slow (I had Nokia's for several years before getting this one so comparing to that) but I can't compare to T68m since I never tryed one. So my question do you notice a speed increase in sms writing in T68i?
I hope you do cause otherwise I can't understand what all the bitching I seen in this forum about sms speed been about
Anyway I'm gonna go get the latest software for T68i in cpl of weeks
perhaps when I got holliday no rush for it since I think T68i works very well.

Guten Morgen - dw and all of you ;D
Like you IŽve been using Nokias in the past, and with them you could drive and SMS at the same time (oki I agree, it is stupid and dangerous). The whole SMS thing went so smooth on them with T9, and then (Ericsson) "flagship" enters the market - and the SMSing just sucks, sometimes when some friend SMSed me, IŽd choose to call him back due to the "struggle" with the phone.
But now when Im using my T68i I can tell for sure that the speed is improved from T68m and its "ordinary" SW. Its not "Nokia speed" but almost, I believe that the some part of the "speedloss" can be due to that the "keys" are smaller and more easy to miss than on Nokias (Brick - no just kididng).

T68i, feels much more "solid" than T68m

SMS is MUCH faster with the T68i, but not as fast as a Nokia.
