I have tried 99*1# I have tried using number to my ISP but I keep getting a message "There is no modem at the phone number. Any help ? Thanks

masseur Joined: Jan 03, 2003 Posts: > 500 From: Sydney, London PM	Posted: 2004-02-16 16:08 ok for starters it should be 99*1# but you seem to have an extra at the beginning. secondly you will need to be sure its a GPRS internet data account that you are using and not a GPRS WAP data account as these are two different things. You can usually tell by editing the data account on the phone and checking the APN. If it mentioned WAP then it will be no good for you and you will have to search out the GPRS internet data account settings. While I have no experience with cingular what I have said is certainly the case with every other carrier I have come across. Unless I'm very much mistaken... A-ZoTT
