T68 is still 1 of d best fone on d market. As usually, /// and se put so many features in it, that even after years it can race with d new models.

I just bought my t68i a week ago (got a good price). Since I mainly got it for GPRS + Bluetooth for use with my iPaq 1940, it should keep me going for a while ... I am not really interested in camera & radio etc.
Tho, I must say I was more impressed than I expected to be with the t68i itself (having come from a Nokia 3330 that shouldn't be too suprising I spose).
I will probably stay with it until something this size/form factor comes out that would convince me that I don't need my iPaq. Some of the later SE models are coming close.
At the moment, the combined devices give me what I need plus the flexibility to leave the iPaq at home when I don't need it (eg the O2 was interesting, but too big and bulky for me for a phone).
So at this stage, I expect I will last a year or two (more likely two

I also think that T68/i have ever make a big leap to the cellphone technology and I think that is what make it unique and unforgetable.
Unfortunately, the tecnology inside is not supoorted by the durable casing (at least it happen w/ mine), it started to wored out. I hope that SE will make better casing that will still look shiny and new even after 2 years old.

T68i has the most beautiful design of SE mobile phones. And it has very powerful battery (start reading here: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=19601&start=0 )
Also T68i has all essentials functions. I don't need a phonecamera and and I don't like the sound of polyphonic ringtones.
I will stick to T68i as long SE will not produce the second beautifully designed phone with the same size and weight (84 g or less), with
two LED lights on top. And I hope it will be a multiband phone (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 or 900/1800/1900/3G) with even more powerful battery.

Think t610 was thought as a kind of second t68, but d shape and design is not so well made as on t68. D faceplate, keypad and d rubber back of 68m is unbeatable.

I will never give my t68i away.use it now beside a t610 as a second phone, but in some cases primary,a great feature i miss on my t610 is the option to stay online with a gprs session while doing other things with the phone..thats saves a lot of money while roaming...works great on t68i... |
