Ok, here's the problem I've been encounting, I own a Z600 by the way!!!
I've been trying to transfer pictures onto my phone, using three different methods, each time I get the same problem - some, and ONLY some, pictures come up with a red cross once uploaded, or won't upload at all...They're ALL 128x128 pixels, less than 40kB, and are all in JPEG format
Method One
IrDA - Since I use XP on my PC, I assumed that I don't need any software to transfer files, and I was right I think. Yet only some pics are allowed through, while others, once downloaded to my phone, I open "My pictures" and see a red cross...I made sure they're JPEG (but I thought they can accept JPEG, BMP and GIF?), and are 128x128????
Method Two
Sony Ericsson Image Editor - I thought maybe the format is incorrect using the IrDA method, as I use photoshop etc to resize them first..so I got out my software CD and installed image editor - I first opened the file and try to download it to my phone through the software, but it wouldn't allow it!!! so I simply edited the picture within the programme, hopefully making it the right format.....but still NO GOOD!!!!
Method Three
I live in NZ, and uses the vodafone network - we have a PXTWORLD site available, whereby you can send pics to other people's mobiles...I tried sending some JPEG pictures, and the ones that I had trouble sending using the previous two methods are NOT working here either!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....
Basically, it'll return with "Sorry, currently only support .JPG format" or the dimensions are "0 x 0"....
Sorry about the long winded post, I am basically running out of ideas!! What do you guys reckon??? Any help/suggestions/feedback will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance,
Isaac
P.S.: Long live Sony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
