I have seen it before somewhere but managed to forget it. I can't bother to use the serch either
I think it's to unlock the phone. If one of the little locks are "locked" then you can enter a code to unlock it. ANd thus make your phone open to all networks. You have to get the code from your operator thugh. That's what I think it does but we'll just wait for some experts
And welcome to esato!

Guyz, get a break!
This code is know long long time before is is intended to view your phones lock status on network levels. You can unlock your phone (in case if it locked of course) if you know the unlock code (splock) which I really doubt anyonme knows becuz operators keep it in deep secrecy... |

Yes, that is the "Unlock Menu" on locket phones.
Don't try to enter a random code hoping to unlock it though!
After three attempts the phone locks itself "forever".
There is no set code to do this, the codes are unic to the individual EMEI number.

Funny thing is if I press in that code I land up at esato.(Having bookmarks as left shortcut) once I back out of the network menu.

you have to start the sequence while on the standby screen i.e. where you can see the time and date and operator name

What I mean is that when I press left joystick the first time I enter my bookmarks then when I press star it connects to my internet provider . So when I get the network screen and I press backstep I land up at Esato which is not my homepage or the last viewed page. It's a strange world. |

oh! I'm with you now!
yeah just tried that and it does do that but I guess thats not totally unexpected since the phone doesn't know you are doing the network sequence and still has to start following the joystick or keyboard commands you are entering.
