try doing a search, there are endless threads on this, and no single answer. you have to get a smoothness/quality ratio right, depending on what you want.

all i can say that as a noob, most of your questions will allready have been answered a thousand times before, so just search. And there is even more useful info at www.my-symbian.com if you need more...

The search system on this forum seems crap to me, it seems to give quite random answers ... *shrug*

These forums really need DECENT FAQ's for stuff like this, after all, all you 'senior' members are quick to say 'use the search' ... in most threads, a decent FAQ would be much better.

If you want 'decent' FAQs you might want to take a look at this forum. It's going to cater to Esato members that want questions answered in the most methodical and comprehensible way. It will be dedicated to Pxxx line phones so resources will be bountiful.

I converted a VCD title (2 discs) to my P900 with pvRecorder that came with the phone. The default size is 192 x 144 but still very good. Furthermore, the total size of the two discs compressed mp4 files is less than 90MB. Very fit into my 128MB MS

I expected pvAuthor will allow me to change the resolution. I will try it out later when I have it.

No, of course not. Only the pvRecorder 30days trials. I supposed all the bundled software are the same as those English version. (Mine is Chinese version)

i have partition operatings systems on my computer, i run 3 operating systems at the same time.

this means i have 3 different registered operating systems, wrong

but the programs and software wont know that,

i load pvauthor and many other trial programs, after 30 days i kill the operating system, my other 2 OS are important to me anyway.

and load it up again then install,,, it starts all over,, so easy to do so easy to go back on track, its soley for the trial software

LOLOLOK hahhahah hhah h aha hah

finally i did something in sense for a change

Why do you run three operating systems?

i run two for important reasons

and the third is open empty no important files, but just to run trial programs

i download loads

but after 30 days (normal trials time limit)
uninstall the program, wont run anyway still sais trial limit has run out
but

i reboot that operatings system and everything is reset

i can then istall the trials again and use them all over
and again
and again

like i said its so easy to do.

once you know how to. complicated stuff to write up.

the only main problem is buy the expensive partition software, but i needed that for work anyway.

Theres an easier way of getting trial porgrams to work again, just un-install them as usual, but then run a program called Registry Healer, it basically kills any dead links in your registry including the trial expiry dates etc.

then its just a matter of reinstalling the trial program, give it a go.....it might end up saving you a few hours

yes but i have been on the look out for these programs, i have been using my method for over 6 months,, yes its true i could save a few hours because the only pain is waiting for the operating systems to install,

i will try do a new search
