I just got some forums and have been adding features and user abilities!!!
I now have it so users can upload a few themes onto the actual board under my themes category and soon I will have son WAP access user storage online (still trying to find a secure way to program it)
check out my progress, I even got the site some WAP access!!!

I really hope this new stuff I'm putting online will help theme makers out!!!

Technically yes, but the main features for user login, etc. are only available under a regular web browser...I am slowly going to allow my entire site WAP access (soon I hope to even make my Invision Power Board available via WAP as I've already made custom scripts for it!)
The WAP access upload features will be available soon...I am just having problems using normal methods and I have to design my own new ways of using databases (security doesn't allow uploads to folders, so I will need to make uploads to a database.
Right now, what you CAN do is upload to the board under a regular browser and download from a regular browser...
but you can expect to see much more, I have big plans for WAP access!
I'm SLOWLY working on coding for a Mobile IPB code (addon for Original IPB's)
Check it out:
http://www.sentertainment.net/forums2.php
LINK
(The link should work on this forum under wap)
(WML page, WAP Access Only)
I have:
-Blocked some font coding (ex: large, bold)
-Messages posted with HTML are stripped/recoded
-Displays a limit of 10 messages in order from newest
-Displays User: and Post: fields (plan on making it more advanced ex: show category)
-still shows images (I will make this more advanced with a detail post view)
-I put in a new link coding that will only show up in WAP, the :mlink: command (context: ":mlink:http://www.site.com/:/mlink:" will show up as a link say MOBILE LINK only under wap!
So far you can't login and post, but I will try to change that soon!

PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS!
I wanna know how well I'm doing so far...
Check it out, I put in a WML Card creation time and more!
I added/fixed:
-Made commented settings fields at top of script (for future distribution)
-Some topic display probs.
-Next and Prev. Options
-Fixed errors in next and Prev. Options (displayed when they shouldn't be displayed)
-Fixed navigation
-made it display by topics and not just posts
-fixed order of certain views, I still need to fix the Forum List (in order, but only for category...actual category order not implemented)
-Got the HTML to WML post conversion 100% working
-Made Qoutes Itallisized
-Added a card creation time at bottom (can be turnd off under script settings)
-Changed the way posts are displayed...more advanced, yet nicer view
-Optimized code for both data transfer and Server processing (cards that aren't displayed are not generated)
-Still managed to keep contained in A SINGLE PHP FILE!!!
-And More!
Coming up next...posting messages, the hard part! |

It's been a while since I last updated on this project, but...
It's almost done!!! (Viewing part anyways)
All I have to do is put some text limits on the main pages!
I'm also going to see what I can do to improve the naviagtion...(doesn't need much more at all)

Send me an e-mail if you want a copy of this version...(or my first release)

I also plan on making this work with phpBB's after it's done!!! |

It now loads - but does not seem to do anything!
Whatever I select from the "main" page - I just get a blank screen next
Not surprising really considering that all the other cards in the deck are empty!!

hmm, very wierd...I was right...those progs don't transfer the variables, what's even more wierd is it's only the main page (which complies 100% with WAP 1.0)
I CAN fix this but it will be a real pain in the @$$!!!
All I can say is my very picky phone (SAMSUNG x105) works just fine and so does WinWAP.
(Trust me, the x105 is very picky, it PI$$ES me off!) |
