i was wondering if this is a common problem..
..whenever i transfer a file from my p800 to my t610, the size of the file increases on the t610 e.g. a 13k jpg increases to 50k on the t610 thus wasting valuable space on the stingy 2mb memory.

p.s. what is the resolution of a fullsize wallpaper on the t610 and also the resolution of the image which shows up whenever someone calls?

cheers

That's cuz the T610 creates a "double" of the picture (RAW) thus being able to access it faster.Nothing u can do about it.
The id caller pic is 108x101.

my 128x160 wallpapers automatically get cropped somehow so they dont fill the screen. end up seeing the top and bottom part of the theme wallpaper behind the selected wallpaper.

That's because only a 128x128 pixel area is dedicated to wallpaper on the desktop.

The "theme wallpaper" you are seeing is the status bar and softkey bar graphics included in the theme; they are not part of the wallpaper.

So, to put it simply, make sure your wallpaper files are 128x128, and if you want it to appear as if the wallpaper is fullscreen, make your own theme including status bar and sofkey images that make up the top and bottom of your chosen image.

Hope that helps.
