Has any one tried syncing T68 using Bluetooth? I've downloaded the software suite for T65 and sync my address book and messages via IRda successfully. I'm now stuck trying to use Bluetooth as the link.

What BT card do you have and what operating system are you running?

I have an Anycom BT card and Win XP Pro and it works most of the time with all the application s in the T65 suite. But it did take a while to setup.

I`m using a 3COM USB Bluetooth adapter to sync the phone.I`m using WIN XP PRO.

I use the T65 suite (Pakage 4)

I can sync the datebook, SMS.

After installing the software, you should Restart your Computer even when the Installation software don`t ask for it.

I installed the package and tried to use it, for some reason it didn`t work. After that I restarted my PC and after that It worked.

Also you should turn ON the option Operation Mode in the Bluetooth menu inside the Connections option in the main menu.

Good luck. Any problem just post it here.

The 3COM Bluetooth Adapter could be found in www.4sure.com

I think the main problem with the bluetooth is that you should Restart the PC after installing the software. I Used Package 4 for T65 and it works with the T68.

The second problem is that inside the Connect Menu>Bluetooth> Operation Mode Should be Turned ON.

Also you should set inside the Bluetooth menu, Paired Devices. ADD new, and there Select "Phone Accepts", then Try to Scan with the BT software in your PC, you should find your Phone.

After that I think all should work.

Try uninstalling any previus verisions of the Ericsson software if you are planning to install Package 4.

I'm using the Digianswer's SDK+drivers. I have an IBM Bluetooth card that is basically OEM and supported by Digianswer. I can get the Address Book and SMS Manager to 'lookup' my phone. Any Tips on that?

One og the main problems with Bluetooth-cards right now are, that they havent yet made XP-drivers.
I know that Anycom have their XP-driver ready here in january 2002.
I dont know about the other cards.
But this could be the problem for some of you guys and girls.

Just some info

that`s true about the drivers. But with my 3com card I`m using the Windows 2000 drivers and it works perfect!

Sure, it might work in some way.

I basically wrote this, because on e.g. Anycom's website, they say that the drivers might not work correctly or you might not have all features, if you're running XP.
I guess, that would be the same for most of the bluetooth cards.

I dont know what Ericsson say about XP and XTNDconnect.
I know that XTNDconnect programs work with win98/ME and so on.
