But aren't rumours often true? We heard rumours about the P900 existence long before SE confirmed anything. |

LOL, do you guys only look at the camera? The phone is ugly and has a huge antenna. Also the screen resolution of 128x160 doesn't match the rest of the phone. But that's just my opinion. |

The GX-30 does indeed have a 1.3 mega pixel camera, as higher-res pictures of it clearly show "1.3 MEGA PIXELS" embossed on the chrome panel in which the camera/flash are located.
Another GSM phone with a 1.3mp camera is the forthcoming Philips 855 clamshell.
And this Audiovox phone is NOT for the European market at all, it's solely for the North American region. |

I wouldn't buy any phone just because of the camera. At the end of the day its only really there for fun and for sendin pics to each other etc. I'd much rather have a great phone with a reasonable camera than a pretty cr@p phone that happens to have a great camera.
I have a 3.3MPixel cam for takin good pics with, VGA is fine for ur phone.
U'll get a 1.3MPixel phone cam & u'll want one with 2.0M pixels then one with 3M pixels and so on!
Then everyone will complain they don't have enough memory cos all the photos u take are so damn big!
No doubt u'll all have a go at me for this but I just don't think it's all that important.

Yeah that all nice and all, but there's a problem with the following word... "Audiovox" makes me wanna They dont exactly have a good reputation out here as far quality is concerned. More of a all show kinda brand. Besides Audiovox products which are manufactured under "Cosmo" communications brand are made from parts from the lowest bidder and manufactured in taiwan at the cosmo/memorex/norcent/citizen plant which also has poor quality control standards. Well thats just my experience here... |

So like I said u'll all be buying a really bad phone just because it has 1.3M pixels and I shall mock thee with the pure class of my P800!

Won't the GX30 have a SD Card slot so you can save your pics on to that? |

Even if CDMA2000 was widely available in Europe, the fact remains that this phone will not be launched anywhere but the the North American market, plain and simple. |
