Hey,

I have had my MP3 player for 2 months now. I have a problem though. Whenever I plug the earphones into it all the way, you cant hear the voices on the songs and the actual music goes funny. I found to stop this you have the earphones slightly out of the hole. This is extremely anoying though as it isnt secure and so it keeps falling out.

I contacted MixiN over MSN and he has never heard of the problem. Have any of you had this problem? I contacted ericsson when i first go it but they never replied

Hope you can help

You have to put your earphones in and then turn them around clockwise until you hear or feel a kind of click... that should do the trick!

YEah..you've gotta shove it in all the way!! The only qualm i have about the player is that you cant navigate through the menus...you can, but youll be playing with your playback as well!! The player is superb..especially with a good pair of ear/headphones!

Sladey i am having exactly the same problem with the mp3 player. Can just hear the voices in the background very faint. It was fine the first couple of times I used it, but now this. Will try suggestions here in the forum about twisting the phones in their socket. Cannot beleive this will make a difference.

I face the same problem and am damn frustrated with it...
Also, with the jeans I wear, I can't really put the phone with the player into my pocket for fear of the fact that it might break...

BTW I have a T39... the phone rocks! But the same can't be said for the MP3 Player.

I usually put it in my shirt pocket, that way it doesn't really move that much like it would in your jeans

I can only say one thing, this MP3 player sucks..the only good thing is that it doesnt take long time to get the music over to the multimedia card. But it pisses me off that u canīt send sms and listen to music at the same time...low budget..and the sound is no good. I canīt record on the voice recorder with the mp3 plaer on, anyone has the same problem??

Well bought one on Friday and the connection was shitty so had to take it back. Got it replaced and this one is fine - sound quality is much better than I expected just a pity you can't put that much music on the card.

I recently discovered a way of getting more songs onto the standard 32MB card that came with the HPM-10. You can either re-encode the songs using a lower bitrate or you can do what I did. I found this amazing little software that actually compresses the MP3 files - it's called Diet MP3. You lose some sound quality but it's still amazing considering the size of the device and how extremely practical it is.

I used to be able to fit an average of 6 good quality songs on my card. This morning I got 25 songs on there and there's still leftover space and the quality is pretty impressive.

Hope this helps.
