Just bought this device today - however somewhat disappointed...
In my ignorance I thought I would be able to transfer files directly to the HBM-30 from my laptop using bluetooth - but naahhh. I can pair it with my pc - but only as a headset.
Is there a workaround to this...?
Further the quality of the device is not in top.

OH MY GOSH?!?!?!??!?!? You are DISAPPOINTED with the HBM-30?!?!? This is like one of the coolest devices that you could have, aside from the phone itself!!! How could you be disappointed with it?
By the way, why can't you just hook the HBM-30 to your laptop and transfer files that way? We are talking about transfering music files, right? Or couldn't you just put them onto a memory stick, then put that in your player?
Geez. Some people don't appreciate what they've got! You should've read the instructions to the product.

I don't know if they come in diff. qualities - but this plastic alu-look alike is definately not top ranking.
I'm using the memory stick adapter - but I would have expected it to enable me to transfer files/music freely without wires/readers etc.
Maybe I'm ignorant - but can't BT handle music transfer in a decent transfer rate?

Don't know. Other than sending music (ringers) via bluetooth between the computer and the phone, I haven't heard of transfering music any other way. It'd be cool if you could!!!

Well about transfering music via BT is possible, well it works when I make my Pocket Pc connect to my HBM-30 as an audio device. Its FM quility and its probably not stero.
I was let down by the HBM too. But I only paid 90 quid for it so I shouldnt complain. I have Problems make vioce dail calls, and sometime the Mic just doesnt want to work.
If you buy Duracell NiMH 750 mAh rechargable batterys for the HBM , you can squiz about 38 hours of continuos music play and 1:30 hours of BT taking.
Does anyhave the same problem with a P900 for Viocedailing with the HBM???
