Has anyone had any luck in getting these three to work together. I was able to download the phonebook from the phone to the computer but only once. Can't download logos to the phone. Have tried Sim Express and GSM Remote. |

I dont know if the Tdk-adapter allows upload of logos/ringtones.
Some bluetooth-devices do,..others dont.
I cant do it with my Anycom bluetooth card.
You might wanna try out the ericsson software,..although I'm not sure if it'll work with Mac ????

When I attempt to send a logo what happens is that I get another copy of a picture that is already in the phone but with the name of the one that I tried to down load. Sometimes I get a small portion (at the top of the screen) of the file I am trying to send. This is using theApple Bluetooth File Exchange program. It almost works so it must be a set-up or configuration problem. There is not much information available yet. Apple sells the D-Link USB tp Bluetooth adapter but they don't ship overseas. |

Try Ericsson Client and please, let me know how it's work. I want to change my old Titanium 400 to 800 one, but new Titanium is without IrDA port. So Bluetooth is only one solution (USB cable doesn't work for me).
You can download Ericsson Client at:

I only had a short amout of time to try it before I had to go to work but it would hang with it saying Initializing. The pref panel only gives me choice of Bluetooth-PDA-Sync and the network control panel also had Bluetooth-modem as a selection. Will try it again later. |

It's seems, that in new Mac OS X (Jaguar code name) will be bluetooth much better supported. There is a new addressbook with vCard support. I will have this system version very soon and if you are interesting about experiences, I can post it into this thread. |

A T68i Theme editor is also released for OS X, you can download it from
http://www.versiontracker.com/redir.fcgi/kind=1&db=macosx&id=14712/T68ThemeEdit0.1.dmg
It works with Ericsson client to design themes, I haven“t tired it yet (have a T68 at the moment) |

I downloaded Theme editor but first I have to get Bluetooth working before I will be able to try it. No luck so far. Ericsson client only gives one choice for a Bluetooth serial channel (PDA) whereas Network control panel gives two (modem and PDA). |

Last night I downloaded Apple Bluetooth Technology Preview Update 2 and it enabled me to transfer pictures from the iMac to the T68i using Apple Bluetooth File Transfer. Still cannot edit the phonebook or send SMS messages from the computer to the phone. |

I have successfully transfered files and used my T68 (currently in for upgrading!) as a modem using the Mitsumi Bluetooth USB Dongle. You can get this from Flint (www.flint.co.uk) for £66 including VAT and next day delivery. The part number is WIF-0402C.
The Mitsumi adapter is exactly the same as the D-Link, as far as I can see, only it is readily available! The D-Link adapter has been unavailable for ages, and no sign of availability anytime soon.
Hope this helps! |
