I'd go and check out T630 stock at Carphone Warehouse before you dismiss it as stocking T-Mobile branded handsets.
Carphone Warehouse UK generally does not stock branded handsets, instead bulk buying unlocked unbranded ones straight from manufacturers.
I bought a T610 on T-Mobile from them jsut because of that, in every other shop they tried to sell me one locked to T-Mobile, with T-Mobile logos all over it, and every branch of Carphone Warehouse I went into said they only stock non-branded handsets.
Having spoken to a few friends about this who've also bought contract phones from CPW, none of their handsets are branded or locked in any way.
So I'd be inclined to believe that buying a T630 on T-Mobile contract in Carphone Warehouse would get you an unlocked, unbranded phone. |

T630 is exclusive to t-mobile for bout 2months-so chance of a sim free version are skin. Got my blak version from t-mobile yesterday and it's mint-well worth waitin for. Only thing missin is the instant messenger, but guess a quick flash at a service point in a few months will sort that out! Well recommended! :-)

It has a friends application the T610 hasn't :-) screen is ment to be an inprovement!
