New e.mail icon but no new e.mail!? |

I'm using a t610. But very recently it's been playing up. 2 days ago i got new mail but the icon never disappeared. Even sent one from my yahoo account, and i had 2 new mail icons on the desktop. Does anyone have a clue what's goin on? FW R3B.

There are several icons that look like new mail. The new mail icon itself looks just like the back of an envelope.
The other ones which look similar also have some other symbol on the envelope such as an @ which means its a wap push message, a black triangle pointing right which means you have received a picture message etc etc. These are all listed in the back of the manual in the icons section.
take a double look at what you have on screen and compare with that to be sure its not one of those
