I have a T68 in US with AT&T and the listening volume on the top left control is set to 0/0 and I can't make it louder. Therefore I can't hear anything!!! I know that the top left sliding button works because I can still use it to view my status and other things, but I just can't adjust the volume! Please help! thanks!

a) Call a toll-free number (like your operator's helpdesk), hit the slider in any direction once, then use the joystick up and down and see if the volume will change (a headset will be helpful in this excercise)

b) Try a master reset (which will wipe out the phonebook, settings, etc. in which case the PhoneBackup software from www.christersson.org is helpful)

c) Have it replaced

what You need to do is to hand it in to a SE service point and let them reset the volume or upgrade the sw. this is a well known problem
