Bluetooth sync problems |

Hey all,
I am trying to link up my t68i and my laptop through bluetooth for Outlook sync. I have a 3com Bluetooth card, and the devices pair fine, but when i go to syncronization on my t68i, it says there are no paired devices. I know the two are paired since my laptop sees my t68i and my t68i sees my laptop, and it tells me pairing is successful. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

I believe this has got to do with XTNDConnect PC. This software version does not support Bluetooth transfer
If you read "Help" section in XTNDConnect PC, you will find that you can only Sync with serial cable or infrared connection.
Perhaps, you should try to getting the latest patch from XTND. If it still doesn't work, may be you can consider giving this useless bluetooth PC Card to me.
Hehe, just kidding.

Although I use an Anycom Bluetooth card (CF-2000), the following might help:
a) a virtual serial port must be defined by the 3Com driver (the Anycom wizard does this step) as SPP (serial port profile)
b) the T68 must be assigned to this virtual port (make sure the phone is set to discoverable)
c) this virtual port must be enabled in the Mobile Phone Monitor to allow XTND Connect for Ericsson to connect (and other softwares too that use MPM) |

@all8, i can sync with XTND Connect for Ericsson using Anycom Bluetooth card. The steps i outlined previously is crucial if you'd like to make this work. |

Thk arnoldc, I've thought of this before. The HELP section in XTND does mention it is possible to make "serial Connection." but It requires a laborous steps to get connected.
Hehe, i thought Clockwork is going to send me his Bluetooth card

I can sync using 3c USB bluetooth. Theses a link in this forum that has been posted numerous times on how to get it working. Use the search function to find it! Oh what a beautiful day sitting outside in the sun reading esato.

Does anyone know how to get this working through the Microsoft Bluetooth device supplied with the bluetooth Intellimouse?
They pc/p800 can see each other, but the sync software doesnt find a port to allow this transfer to take place.
the only option the pc allows me to do is use the p800 as a dialling device, which isnt much use!

you cant use the bt dongle supplied with the MS keyboard/mouse. it has very limited profiles.
