T68i as bluetooth device? |

Hi all!
I have PocketPC with bluetooth + T68i.
I also have USB cable to connect the T68i to my PC which has cable internet connection.
What I want is to use the T68i as a bluetooth device, so that I can use internet on my PocketPC via bluetooth. It should be like this: Via bluetooth, my PPC tells T68i what to get (as internet data). Then, T68i gets it via the USB cable with my PC, and then sends it to my PPC via bluetooth.
So, is this possible?
Any suggestions? |

i don't think so either. the phone cannot act as a wireless link between 2 devices needing information. get a bt access point, that will do the trick.

It should be working, but what do you want to use it for... PC - phone - PDA? Isn't it better to connect your PDA with PC via your usb cradle? (usb BT is for 30 E)
Seems to be easier for me |

Hi!
The thing is that I want to use internet on my PPC in radius of 10 meters or so, but the USB cable is not long enough. Also, even if it was, cables are not comfortable for my case.
But how do you think it is possible? |

You can indeed use your phone as a dial up device for your PDA. I use mine all the time. I have my T616 linked to my SONY Clie S-J30, and on my PDA, I have an AIM program. The phone and PDA link together, and then the phone dials up, and I get to chat with my buddies. You just have to configure your PDA with the right settings.

I don't quite get what you mean. You want to connect your phone to your PC, right? Then, via bluetooth, you will use your PDA to tell your phone to download stuff to the phone? Like getting ringers, themes, games or stuff like that? Is this what you mean?

You will have to contact your operators service center or maybe take a look on their web site if they have the explanation how to configure your phone and comp.

Well, i dont see the reason why my operator should assist me in such a thing. this is local settings between the phone and pc not with the operator. somehow the phone must be told to connect through the bluetooth to the pc and there must be some sort of account settings which shall allow it. i dont know i tested a lots of different options but still nothing ((
