Nokia 3200 and PPC? |

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know how I can get my Nokia 3200 and My Pocket PC(Jornada 565, PPC 2002 OS) Talking via infrared?
I have tried sending images for example, from my Nokia to my PPC, the PPC asks if I would like to accept the image, I click yes, but nothing happens.
I have also been having trouble sending it contacts etc, same kind of problem.
One final thing, I'd like to be able to send SMS's from my PPC via infrared, I used to do this with my T39m but obviously it used a different method because it had an built in modem.
Any help, advice or info would be grealty appreciated.

nokia u need a specific program...
goto the nokia site and u can dl the program...
as again nokia sux cause of this....very user unfriendly!!

I searched the Nokia Site and all I could find was their Software for the windows desktop, not for pocket pc, I couldn't find any pocket pc software there at all. |

Unlike the old nokia's (6610, 7210, 7250, etc...) you don't need a specific program as it has "Send via..." option in almost everything... That program used to "pick the files" from the phones memory, but this phone can "send" them...
As to your problem mrmobsoft, can't say much... I've been able to send pics and melodies from a Nokia 3200 and to T610 and vice versa... Maybe your handheld pc has some probs; ever tried with a  phone? |

Yup, sorry, just as an update.
I managed to send images from my phone to my pda and visa versa, also pulled off ringtones etc.
But I still would like to know if there's a program that can send sms from my pda to my nokia and out to the SMSC.
and Yes, the 3200 does have IR. It just took me a bit of screwing around with to get it to work! |
