 | Does anyone know?
I'm looking for a good resource site for the R380. Any suggestions?

I'm really trying to find a cool software that works with the R380 for managing the phonebook and stuff.

 Any help is much appreciated.

 Thanks.

 | The only software I've seen for managing the phonebook was from Ericsson.
It's still avaliable from the SE website.

It's service pack 7 for version R1S of the Communication Suite.

The suite works with R380W, R380e and R380s

Could you please provide me with a link for that? I'm having some trouble locating on the SE website.

 Thanks again.

you can find it here, remember that you need to have Communication Suite installed since this is just a upgrade.

Thanks but I don't have the Communications Suite software. This is why I'm looking for an alternative. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

 Thanks again.

 | Bobafett, It is normal that the IR turn off automatically if no connection, not like the other Ericsson/Sony Ericsson phones. And I don't think you can sync over IR.

there is a new function "Ink Notes", new games, the menu icons are a bit different... nothing else... and less memory free to use since the R380e firmware takes up more space

yes it's possible... worth it? depends on if you want the above changes... otherwise it's not much use. There is no speed improvements.
