Hey,
Im kinda new to this and i got some question about my phone. I have the sony Ericsson T226. Its a good phone overall, but i have to get pre-paid on it, which sucks very much. i cant download any ringtones or anything!! I was wondering if you all can help me because i cant get GPRS. Is there like a way that i can just put it on there? I want it but you cant get it with prepaid. Well hope you can help. Thanks

Don't know how in u'r country, but here in russia are alternate gprs providers. U pay them every month, get their settings and use gprs unlimited.

If your operator doesnt offers u gprs service with pre paid, there is no other way. U have 2 choose an other pre paid by an operator wich offers it. Reg

Oh i see. Man that sucks then, i wish it would be like that here like in russia. That would kick ass. Thanks for the reply guys. Maybe i can call and ask if they would put it a gprs service. Hey i know its different here in the USA, California but how much do you pay in Russia for the extra unlimited GPRS? Im using Cingular right now, i just switched from Virgin Mobile because they sucked bigtime. I mean they didnt have any night and weekend minutes which made me mad lol. Hope to hear from you again.
PS: Does anyone know any services for GPRS here in the USA, california that i could pay for every month? If so let me know. Thanks.
