I have a Swedish T300 which has been unlocked and I'm using it on Virgin Mobile (UK) It keeps saying GPRS failed once I have set up the account. I can't send MMS or E-mail and WAP does not work. Can someone help me please? What should I do?

There is NO GPRS or MMS on Virgin Mobile! I can't wait till they relise it! You'll have to make do with WAP! Search for settings or go to the website!

I think we should sign a pertion for it, i'll start a thread maybe

EDIT: Have a look at this!

I've tried to set up e-mail as on the other thread but it keeps saying mailbox or password not correct when everything is correct.

I've already bought an Orange sim to use GPRS when i need it, but if Virgin don't bring it out soon I might just change altogether 'cos this swaping sim cards is getting irritating!!!

The reason for the Delay was due to T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile faling out over the Call Disconnection charge.

The argument has now been settled with Virgin Mobile buying the reamaing 50% part owned by T-Mobile. This make Virgin Mobile 100% Virgin and not a 50-50 joint venture any more with T-Mobile (one2one)

Virgin Mobile are still saying with T-Mobile (well for a few years until the contract is up for renewal) and GPRS and MMS should hopefully be introduced in Late March / Early April 2004.

This is only a rough date but this is what i have found out.

hey, im a newbie to Esuto.

Im really annoyed with Virgin mobile, i have a Sony Ericcson T610, which is unlocked. It is such a pain because i cant use the phone to its full protential, i have phoned virgin up and they have no idea when the gprs is going to be operational. Im going to give them til march, and if i havent heard anything, im going to look for another network.
