I've been thinking about buying a MCA-20 CommuniCam to go along with my T68i! I've seen a few (quite bad) pictures taken with it, but what I'm wondering is if the pictures have a quality that makes it possible to get them printed on paper (10x15 size), by a professional camera-store?

I'm using a Canon Ixus V at the moment, it's a small and stylish 2,1 megapixel camera which I really enjoy having. Of course I don't believe that the CommuniCam can match the performance of my Ixus, but I'm wondering how well the quality really is! Will it give good results when printed on paper in the 10x15 size?
I'm just not a signature kind of guy..

As long as i know Communicam is not match any digital camera that available on market, I just try that stuff also and my impression that this camera not worth for buying.

I think it's only worth buying if:

- you don't have a better camera with a reasonable size.
- you want to be able to send your pics immediately via Email or MMS.
- you just have too much money

mca20 has 640x480..... means it's better than any 2mega pix...
20jpgs storage. and over 200 for mms size jpg.
it lacks flash.. so have to take pic at a well lighted place.

www.pbase.com/dan47 for the mca in action.

I,m going to get one after W20-22 when get my T68m flashed.

Most of the megapixel camera currently available, transfer picture to pc is a pain especially you need to plug in & unplug the transfer cable. With MCA-20, i can transfer pictures via IRda or bluetooth and no need to charge the Camera

How is that possible? It is way less than even 1 megapixels.
You need at least 1.3 megapixels to print a decent 5X7 picture.

The price is a little different, it varies from 150$ to 250$, depending on where you are....

What a waste of cash on both items, I mean the mca20 and the t68i.
If I had known before i wouldnt have spent so much on them, the pictures are real poor quality pictures . The background pictures from esato are a 100% more better than the pictures from the mca20.
Well i wont discourage anyone from buying it, but i think if you have the money to waste then go for it, as for me i think i should start looking ahead for more quality products from other manufactures.

Disagree with you there man, I think the pics are quite ok....

For anyone who wants, here are the four different formats of pics, taken by ME on the MCA-20 camera:

MMS size

SMALL size

MEDIUM size

LARGE size

Well in Holland the official local price is going to be around € 239,- and in our Tax Free shop it's going to be € 209,-.

And the resolution: 640 x 480 = 307.200
So this is a 0,3 MegaPixel Camera.

personally, I wouldn't buy it. insted i'll get a Fujifilm FinePix A101 for the same price.
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=FUJI_A101
should consider lowering it's price as not much people will buy it at this price (or make a new one with much higher num pixels)
