If the mmc shows tracks on it. Erase them individually

Now i get this error;
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
If nobody wants it.. put it on eBay. |

I think it is becoming visible why these mp3 devices are being sold at low discounted prices and also why some places have it section off as "dis-continued"! |

After copying do i take out the mmc first or close the program,then take the card out?

I just copied an mp3 file. Then pasted it into the removable disk drive. Then just took it out

Maybe you have formated them with Fat 32. HPM-10 only support Fat 16

Right then,due to my lack of experience with these sort of things is the reason im having problems
Got it working again but it seems to only play certain files,im trying to copy some choons that that probly need converting to MP3 first,but please correct me if im barking up the wrong tree here but i've been used to vinyl for so many years and its hard to get my head round this lot
I've got some choons copied to my PC from a normal CD but they wont play on the HPM-10 after they have been copied to it(they show up on the PC but not on the phone display ),can someone tell me where im going wrong please,i really want these choons on the MP3 player,thanks,boyi

You said "they probably need converting to MP3 first" right? Well the HPM-10 ONLY plays MP3s, not RAM, WAV, ATRAC or anything else, ONLY MP3s so use REAL or MusicMatch your CDs/Vinyl whatever to MP3 then copy to the MMC. It works fine, maybe you have a dud one, but sounds more like you're not copying MP3s to it.
