Can someone suggest a new phone for me? |

Hi
I currently own a T68i which has everything I need in a phone...its great! My main requirements are:
1. The phone has Line 2 capability.
2. Has the ability to send and receive from 2+ email accounts.
3. Is Tri-Band
4. Is small and light.
Everything else I am not too concerned about ...i.e. camera/btooth/games/screen etc...
So why don't I just stick to what I've got?
Well, I love SE and as I said before the T68i really is my perfect phone...when it works! Unfortunately, I have just had to send off for my 5th replacement in approx. 2 yrs. Its the same problem every time....after 3 months or so, over a period of a day or so, it starts to go wrong ...'No Access' screens/full signal but can't make receive calls etc.... I AM SICK OF IT AND THE HASSLES OF GETTING IT EXCHANGED.
So, does anyone have any ideas about a phone that I can change to (any brand) which has my main requirements but is a little more reliable than my 'almost perfect T68i nightmare'.
Thank you. |

T610 would be the obvious choice as it meets all your requirements, you are familiar with the interface and certainly was very reliable for me

I too say the T610. I upgraded from a T68i to this handset and loved it.

Thank you both.
2 follow-up questions.
1. Are you positive it has Line 2 and the ability to have 2 email accounts...I can't find this confirmation on either the Esato (phone look-up table) or the SE site?
2. Does it follow, therefore, that infact I should wait unti the t630 comes out as this i the upgrade of the t610 is it not?
Thanks |

not sure about line 2 on t630,
but it is marketed as the t610 follow up.
BTW: Had that very same prob with my t68i's
(replaced twice in a year and a friend of mine 5 times in half a year!!!)
Perfect phone but unbelievably crap antennas
edit:
Someone here says it's possible on t610, of course depending on whether your operator supports it (which it does in your case).

Yup a SE T610 will do. Will a Nokia 6100/7250/7250i will do as well ?

Thank you all for helping me out with your advice. I guess at this time my preference is the T630 or to risk staying with my t68i...oh if only the little fella was as reliable as it is impressive in every other department, I'd never have to worry about a new phone again! |
