Has anyone here done an install of the HCB-30 bluetooth car kit into a Honda CR-V (2001)? I'm pondering the best places to mount the various pieces and was wanting to gather opinions or pictures of those who had done the install.

That's a very specific request you have there mate, and the odds that anyone who's done it will also be a member here are pretty remote. I had mine installe professionally and most of the kit is behind the dash. The main bluetooth unit is just above my left leg (right if you're in a left hand drive car) alongside the central dash layout, as far forward as it can be to allow clear bluetooth access. The microphone wire is again behind the dash, goes up through the side of the windscreen surround and comes out at the top, alongside the sun visor, and fixes with velcro to the fabric just above my head. The remote control is behind the dash and comes out to the right of the steering wheel between the wheel and the door at about elbow height, so it can be easily reached without needing to look for it or at it. So only the remote and mic are visible. Hope that helps.
