For those of you also interested in the design of early telephone-apparatus, here some interesting links, I´ve recently found:

Early phone-design by Ericsson:
http://translate.google.com/t[....]w.tekniskamuseet.se/1/931.html

Yet another remarkable telephone was created by Ericsson during war-times in 1944: The "Unifonen"

Although the "Unifonen" was never mass-produced, it was the unknown coeval with the famous "Ericofon", called Cobra, released in 1941.

Big congrats bucheral for your Futaba and Satellite prototype, I want them both badly And your new site is amazing, keep up the good work with it!

I want to show you all a prototype i made for a swedish phone museum, before I had a chance to hand it over to the owner he passed away and yes it was i private owned museum and Swedens only phone museum and now I don't know when or if they will open again
Everything is (LM)Ericsson original and it works perfect, it took long time try out everything and make it work like it would be something for everyday usage.
And yes, there is only one way to talk in it and it's like in a real Ericofon

Great stuff, Stolleman !!!
To me, your solution seems much more reasonable than THAT one, integrating only Bluetooth within the Ericofon and than connect it with an ordinary mobile-phone.

cheers, Kaliostro

Here´s another Harry HotLine ad from the early 1990th:
Aparently the "brand-new" GH 172 model with a handsfree-car-equipment.

Actually, I always have the impression, that for the italian market they used a different male-fotomodel.
This time Harry is in companion with a beautiful (italian?) brunette.

But honestly: Who needs a mobile-phone, when you´re on excursion in such a car with such a girl...

Good morning "bucheral" and the rest of us !
Very nice R380s you have !
Esp. I love the R380e...

Yesterday I "played" a litte bit with mine, which means, I put in different combinations like >> * ** and so on to see what happens (seeking for secret codes...)
All of a sudden the display showed THIS weired graphic (below).

I mean, the message written is a bit ridiculous "Open to communicate and organize", when the R380 already IS with OPEN flip !

Cheers, Kaliostro

A somewhat strange sci-fi-looking Ericsson-deskphone, apparently from the crazy 1970th
