@ginz no, they were all killed before they could come to Sweden.
@collector I think they are German. The name is from there at least.

Take à look at this crazy thread here at esato. http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=94263
I wonder what would happen if a guy stepped in and said he had a little Hedvig collection for sale.

@collector: What a pleasure to see again my beloved T68 sharkfin. Be quite kind to my beauy. I was stupid to sell it!!!)
@torshammer: the crazy threat - yess these have been the good old times, where two people from /// made us crazy and also made us paying him lots (and I mean REALLY lots) of money for these items.
And the beautyfull hedvigs .... quite sad that none came to sweden. But maybe the parcel will make you a little bit smiling. *surprise*

@Tigerente: According to the pictures you posted in this thread almost seven years ago, I can confirm it is exactly the same phone. It would be a real surprise if there was another one...
You never actually own a T68 Sharkfin. You merely take care of it for the next generation.
The only words that come to my mind when thinking of it are "my precioussss"...

@collector Beautiful! Nice collection there. Two GPRS red and two Hedvig and sharkfin. You blow us off.
@tigerente I am now Looking forward to the package even more.
About the sharkfin. Maybe only one design study was made? Or has anyone heard of one more.
Is this the same sharkfin as rosewhite had?
@collector nice thought. That we only take care of them for next gen.

@Collector: WOW! That's all I can say! Interested in trading one of those R320 GPRS maybe?
@all: some more pics of my beauties:
The Picasso flip collection (unfortunately there are two GF388 on the pics, does anyone have a GF337 or maybe just a GF337 front cover even without the flip?):
One of my favorites, the T36m and the T29sc "colormix". The colormix has a red antenna, and the front cover builds up from the two, officialy released colors, and if it was not enough, the T29sc seems to be working on 1900 mhz as well:
And of course, one more Wakaba, unfortunately does not power on:
Hope you guys like them. |

@hanky Nice phones as well. I dont have a Wakaba either. Will check the GF337. That T29 was special.
@collector Trading would be fun. What could be tradable with a GPRS? A Penelope? What could be tradable
With à Hedvig? À Pamela? I guess you are not interested but just for fun to figure out what you guys value beeing the same.

@all: I am not ready to trade or to sell anything from my collection yet.
@torshammer: That Sharkfin is the only known one that is still among us. From what I know, the Sharkfin was developed as a top secret project to completely overthrow the competition. Several units have been made with different variations. Most of them had a magnesium frame and a few different shapes of the antenna. The executives considered the external antenna designs as a serious drawback and ordered to develop a phone with an embedded antenna, so that the product would be commercially successful. The embedded antenna design came at a cost - the magnesium frame had to be replaced by a plastic one and the whole board had to be heavily redesigned, thus postponing the final T68 release. Since it took a relatively long time, Ericsson also managed to develop a new version of the main CPU, which was then used in all consumer T68 phones. Almost all Sharkfin designs have been scrapped during Q1 2001. It is a real mystery how this one could have survived.
If you compare the Sharkfin with an ordinary T68, you will immediately notice these differences: antenna, battery, circuit board, CPU, display, frame, joystick, keyboard, SIM-card holder, volume slider. So what parts does the Sharkfin share with a T68? Maybe only the system connector and a few resistors and capacitors...

@hanky: Your T29sc looks to me like a very early T36 prototype. What is its software version? CXC1122080 would mean it is just a T29sc, whereas CXC125137 would imply a T29/T36 hybrid.
