I`m the greatest men on earth... I made it... 4096 colours on T300!!! I have bougt T230`s display and instaled it on my T300 instead of old one!!! Now my phone has 4096 colurs... And guess what? Mask of T310 perfectly fits on T300! Now my mobile looks like T310 and have 4096 colours... I call this phone T400!!!!! Who is the greatest now??? |

Good man. Great. So how much did you pay for this? And does the screen look good? Similar to 230? And has the battery standby decreased? Did you use the 230's SW?

Didn't you have to do anything with the firmware to make it use more than 256 colors? And do you got any pictures?

Not saying he's lying or anything but surely the firmware would have to support 4096 colour screen?

In the service menu there is a lcd version something like that. So i think That's the software maybe

I think that you have to add software for the new screen because as sony_eric said there is something about LCD SW version in the service menu.

I'm confused. First he said that he took a T230 screen and fit it in his T300. Then he said that the mask of the T310 fits perfectly on the T300. After that he said he has a T310 with 4096 colors.
Which is which? What is what? Which is what? What is which? I'm really confused.
Do you have a T300 with a T230's 4096 screen or is it a T310 with a T230's 4096 screen?
Personally, I would love the T300 design better than the T310. Though the latter has notes and calendar which the former does not. Anyway, it will really be cool. Mophun games, MCA-25's pics, photo gallery will all look killer now...

From what he said, i think that it is T300 with a T230's 4096 screen, but the t300 now has a t310 case, so it looks like a t310, though it is actually a t300.
