how do I delete my esato account? I want to change my email but it wont let me, so can I delete my whole account and start again?? |

Pls PM Laffen (the webmaster of this forum) with ur new email adress and he will change it for u.No need to delete the account.

Same thing, PM Laffen. He's in charge of the database!
No point deleting your account though really, if you just stop visiting Esato nobody's going to contact you asking why

moderators cannot delete accounts and indeed accounts are generally not deleted.
please take the advice of PMing laffen if you wish to change your email address

Wouldn't that clog up Esato's database, Masseur? Do Esato ever do spring-cleaning, sort of? |

I can only repeat that we do not delete accounts, people simply stop using them. even banned accounts remain on the database

I'm sure they can be made inactive, but to delete may make it hard to search old posts under that name etc.
And if an account where deleted, new accounts with the same name could be created, this would cause some confusion |

as mentioned before in the topic, we don't tend to delete account or posts.
in any case... unfortunately, with the history that google keeps, its unlikely your posts or username will dissapear for sometime, no matter what happens happens here.
if you PM me your exact concern I will try to see what we can do to help with that issue
