Hi Mhorton. Did 165 mph between Oslo and Stockholm. My car is limited and it was strange to notice that my car actually did more than I expected. I just love driving fast... Cars are very expensive here in Norway.

@mhorton > cool

@All > Being a family man (and a motor vehicle technician) I drive a sensible, reliable 1999 Nissan Primera 2litre SLX. Its OK, handles pretty well, (something Primeras are good at, though they scrub front tyres faster than most cars cuz of the great set-up!) Doesn't go too bad either. I have fully comp insurance, covers any driver fully comp too. I pay £450 a year.... oh I'm 28.

Untill you crash. Then your Mum's no clams bonus is gone. You should get your own car and Insurance to build up yours as well.

Well, cars are extremely expensive in DK.

I have a peugeot 306 Xsi, modified engine (chip-tuning and so on)
and e.g. Sony/Alpine stereo cd, alloy wheels etc.

In dk its about 210.000 dk.kr (without the xtras)
In Us-dollars that would be like $ 25.609,- without all the xtras.

prices are very high,..for cars you pay the normal-price (factory-price) + 180 percent tax on top of it !
And a normal salary isnt really that high. So You would need to make really good money, to afford an expensive car...e.g. mercedes. No one with an ordinary salary could afford this. Too bad really.

So I wont really "compare" insurance-prices,..because it wouldnt be realistic in any way.

Do really think about moving to e.g. Sweden, hehe.
