Playng with my phone and found this one: Press 9 and # at the same time, Call from SIM appears.
(I did "Search" with no luck).

Great. What's even better, you don't have to press them at the same time, but write any number e.g. "n", then press # and you'll be in the Call from sim menu, at the phone number you entered "n"-th time.
88# goes to the 88th saved number. |

Worked on all Ericsson phone I had, since… let say… 10 years ago… !!! By the way, worked also with my Motorola Tri-band… and my Siemens S35i…!!!

Did you not know that the manual is only to be used when someting goes wrong or you get stuck?
